Two former Sucden Financial employees have been hired by IS Prime, a foreign exchange brokerage service launched at the end of 2014.

Andrew Biggs and Jean Claude Francois join the firm with significant expertise and will form part of the team hired to drive the business forward this year.

Biggs' role will focus on delivering tailor-made solutions for IS Prime's institutional client base, with responsibility for electronic trading solutions, client coverage and analytics; while Francois will be the lead contact for client on-boarding, reporting and front-to-back MT4 set-ups.

Raj Sitlani, managing partner of IS Prime, said the firm was delighted to have the two men on board.

"Having worked with Andrew and Jean Claude for a number of years, we are very pleased they are joining IS Prime as we approach our official launch," he said.

"We want to assemble a team of the highest caliber who are able to bring with them significant expertise in FX brokerage and are familiar with our institutional client base."

Andrew Biggs' most recent role on the institutional sales desk at Sucden Financial encompassed client coverage, liquidity and execution management.

Prior to that he was head of European sales at a successful retail brokerage.

He graduated from Imperial College London with an honours degree in chemistry and management, earning an Associateship of the Royal College of Science.

Jean Claude Francois has 10 years' experience in the financial industry having started his career as a KYC/AML analyst at the Caisse des Depots et Consignations, Paris, before moving to London to join the graduate programme at Bank of America.

His role at Sucden included client coverage and responsibility for MT4. He has a finance degree from the Rouen School of Management and is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Tamil.
