The West Sussex Pension Fund has appointed UBS Global Asset Management as an investment manager for part of the fund.

The contract, which is approximately worth £250m, was awarded to UBS after West Sussex County Council received 18 offers.

In the tender alert, the council said that the contract is also for other contracting authorities within the County of West Sussex and the neighbouring south-east counties.
