London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Pension Fund has hired BNY Mellon Asset Management International Limited as a global credit investment manager.
BNY Mellon will manage the investment of an active global credit portfolio of approximately £50m through a pooled fund, which is preferred, or a segregated account.
The council's pension fund had awarded the contract to BNY Mellon after 18 offers were received.
