Despite evolving as an asset class and becoming a strategic holding for many, emerging market (EM) debt can still be clouded by misconceptions and concerns for some investors. The reality is that these markets continue to mature, but still offer the potential for diversification and enhanced returns.
We examine the reality of EM debt investing and find that, while challenges remain, fixed-income investing in EM is more robust and investible than is often perceived.
