The NAPF conference wasn't just a success for Bob Geldof and Steve Webb, the PFO team made an impact showcasing the website and the new features.

The team met with fund managers at the stand to demonstrate the new free login section of the website – a tool designed to give fund managers more insight.

The free login section allows funds to view certain benchmarking graphs to compare their investment return, asset allocation, and funding ratio to their 200 closest peers by asset size, and also update their entry on Pension Funds Online.

Data sales manager Graham Hatch and Pension Funds Online editor Neil Blain also spoke to fund managers about what else they'd like to see on the site.

"I met with lots of pension fund managers and trustees at the conference and it was great to be able to showcase the new fund benchmarking section of the website and also to hear their feedback on what else we could provide to meet their needs," Neil said.

Kate Mullen, campaign manager at partnership won the competition for an iPad mini – one of two prizes on offer from PFO at the conference.

Meeting with clients at the conference was invaluable to the team, who were keen to get the message out about the additional website features.

"The conference is always really useful to get face to face with many of our clients that use Pension Funds Online and demonstrate to them any of the new features that we've developed over the year," said Graham Hatch.
