The trustee of the Britvic Northern Ireland Pension Plan has announced they hired a consultancy firm to provide a full pension services package.

Xerox company Buck Consultants got awarded the contract.

The firm has been appointed to provide actuarial and investment consultancy advice as well as administration, treasury and payroll services.

The Northern Ireland branche of the Britvic pension scheme, which looks after approximately 575 members of one of European's leading soft-drinks companies, has approximately £22m of assets.

Dave Roberts, chairman of the Trustee said: "Buck exhibited the professional expertise we were looking for in a consultant. Our scheme has been transitioning to Buck over the course of the last few months. This process is nearly complete and we have been very impressed with Buck's approach. The project has been tightly controlled by a disciplined, knowledgeable and tenacious team who pride themselves upon their high level of attention to detail. We believe that we are in very safe hands."
