The new Pensions Trust website aims to provide more information to current and prospective clients about its services.

The site www.tpt.org.uk contains new features, including a portal through which clients can instantly access all their documents and members can link through to online services.

From the homepage, clients can link to services including a jargon buster, and Ask a Question, and separate Employer, Member, and Adviser hubs with tailored information for the respective audiences.

Other new additions include interactive defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) calculators, the latter of which includes modelling of annuities and income drawdown to assist those weighing up their pension options.

Mike Ramsey, chief executive of The Pensions Trust, said: "The addition of new DB and DC calculators will be a particularly valuable tool for members in todays 'Pensions Freedoms' world.

"The 'Pensions Explained' and 'Jargon Buster' sections are also designed to assist people looking for information on pensions and the entire site is 'user-friendly' to make interacting with The Pensions Trust an easy, simple and most importantly, enjoyable experience."

Once clients access their scheme's areas on the site, which is fully responsive and accessible across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, employer and member scheme documents are easy to locate and there is now the capability for members to easily link to online services.

If a user has any queries when browsing the site, the search function suggests popular queries, and searches throughout the site to provide answers.

"We are delighted to unveil our new website; which has a fresh modern feel reflecting The Pensions Trust's position in 2015 as a leading provider of workplace pension schemes.

"It has been totally rebuilt and for the first time provides access across all platforms," said Ramsey.
