The National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) has appointed a new head of external affairs.
Graham Vidler will begin his new role in late spring, when he will be responsible for leading the NAPF's external affairs activity including policy, research media and parliamentary affairs.
He joins from the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST), where he was director of communications and engagement.
Joanne Segars, NAPF chief executive, said: "I am delighted Graham is joining the NAPF at this important time for the pensions industry. His expertise and enthusiasm for pensions matches our own priorities and those of our members. He will be a great asset to the NAPF."
Vidler said: "It's been a great five years at NEST and I'm hugely proud to have played a role in the creation of a major new pension scheme.
"I'm delighted to now be joining the NAPF; they have a central role to play in enabling workplace pensions to flourish and I'm looking forward to contributing to their continued success."
